An upscale furnished co-living home designed for professionals, located in the Proctor District of North Tacoma, WA


Intention & Design


The owner had a vision of comfortable living environment for busy professionals. She consulted a designer and builder. Two years later, it was ready to open! It has welcomed traveling nurses, teachers, doctors, lawyers, graphic designers, airline pilots and more. The flexibility attracts many as leases can be for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and up to a year. The home is stylishly furnished. The kitchen is stocked with glassware, silverware, pots and pans. Each bedroom has a bed and a dresser. To move in, all you need is your suitcase, a toothbrush and bedding!

Upstairs Bedroom with Shared Bathroom
This comfortable room shares a large bathroom with two sinks with just one other person (in "The Jupiter" room). It comes with a generous closet and access to washer/dryer on same floor. It is furnished with a stylish bed and dresser. You will feel comfy and close to all needed amenities in this room upstairs.

The Esmerelda
Upstairs Suite with Attached Private Bathroom and Walk-in Closet
This lovely room has it all: attached and private bathroom, walk-in closet and located on top floor. It is furnished with a stylish twin bed and dresser. It is also conveniently close to laundry room. Spoil yourself with this room!

Details

The home is very clean. Residents who live here appreciate a neat & tidy house. When someone walks in, it looks like the cleaning service has just visited.

  • Sorry, no pets (due to allergies of others living in the house). Legal service animals permitted.
  • One person per room.
  • The home is co-ed. In the past, it has been a higher percentage of female residents.
  • Utilites are additional. They have been approximately $85-$105 per person (per month).
  • There is an "upcharge" for stays less than 12 months (see below)
  • Sorry, there are no overnight guests.
    Why? Why No Overnight Guests?

    To keep the home comfortable for everyone:

    1) If all residents had overnight guests, it could double the number of people in the house, impacting kitchen space, noise, and cleanliness.

    2) For security and peace of mind, residents should feel confident that only house members are present at night.

    Providing all residents "peace of mind" is important to Andrea (the manager/owner) since it's their home.

    And, guests during the day and evening are WELCOME! :)
  • For peace of mind, bedroom doors have locks and all residents are background checked. Having you feel safe and secure is a priority.
  • Venmo or Zelle are used to make rent payments. Thank you!


Rent / Upcharge

For stays less than 12 months, a monthly upcharge is added to the “base rent” 

Add to monthly rent: 
    3-4 months    $105 
    5-8 months    $65 
    9-11 months   $45 
    12 months      $0

So, if the lease is for 12 months, then only the "base rent" would be paid (no upcharge).



Buying a Home Soon?

I (the owner/manager) am a real estate agent. If I could offer my services as an agent, I am happy to arrange the lease so that your lease ends on the day that you get the key to your new home! I'm happy to explain how it works in more detail. A few tenants have already done this with positive results! My brokerage is RE/MAX Northwest.
